Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat skin, hair, and nail disorders.
Examine patients, recommend investigations, and develop treatment plans.
Perform skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, and minor dermatological surgeries.
Manage conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, fungal infections, and skin allergies.
Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted skin diseases.
Identify and manage skin cancers and suspicious lesions.
Provide cosmetic dermatology services (Botox, fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments), if applicable.
Counsel patients on skin care, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control, and hospital policies.
Collaborate with other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
Participate in CMEs, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
MBBS with MD/DNB/DVD/DVL in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy.
Valid State Medical Council registration.
Experience
2–10 years of relevant experience in a hospital or multispecialty healthcare setting.
