Data Analyst Roles & Responsibilities
Collect, clean, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights and support business/project decisions.
Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other BI platforms.
Perform data validation, quality checks, reconciliation, and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets.
Design and automate recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical processes to improve reporting efficiency.
Analyze trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support monitoring and performance improvement.
Develop data models, queries, and reports using SQL and database management tools.
Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and insights for management reviews and stakeholder communication.




Support Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E;) activities through data analysis, performance tracking, and outcome measurement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
Maintain documentation of data sources, processes, dashboards, and reporting methodologies.
Support data integration from multiple systems and ensure seamless flow of information for reporting purposes.
Identify data gaps, anomalies, and improvement prospects through detailed analysis.
Provide technical support and training to users on dashboards, reporting tools, and data interpretation.Role & responsibilities
