Job Responsibilities
Analyze customer requirements or specification proposals to translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and implement software solutions adhering to object-oriented principles and specific customer requirements.
Implement or configure the IP stack to meet functional requirements, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Gain a solid understanding of Layer 2 Ethernet switch configuration and its working principles.
Analyze timing requirements and optimize the startup and configuration of the Ethernet stack.
Validate the AVB software stack against AVB guidelines, ensuring compliance and high quality.
Adhere strictly to company development and quality processes, such as SAFE Agile and ASPICE.
Requirements
Hands-on experience in programming languages, with proficiency in C++ and a solid knowledge of C (preferred).
Extensive experience and deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols and their stack's functional behavior.
Proven experience with multi-threading and synchronization techniques.
Experience in the Automotive Ethernet domain and Ethernet protocols like IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab.
Experience in configuring and validating the AVB stack.
Knowledge of AVB protocols (IEEE 802.1AS).
Experience with network tools/utilities usage, such as tcpdump, wireshark.
Experience in operating systems, such as QNX and Linux.
Experience in Design/Architecture Tools like EA.
Strong technical skills are highly preferred in the automotive domain.
Knowledge and understanding of SAFE/Agile Development methodologies.
Excellent logical, analytical, and debugging/problem-solving skills, particularly in TCP/IP communication.
