We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Zuken E3.series for electrical schematic design, wiring harness development, and electrical system integration. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical drawings, harness designs, BOMs, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain electrical schematics using Zuken E3.series (E3.schematic, E3.cable, E3.formboard).
Design electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and interconnection systems.
Create and manage electrical documentation including:
Schematics
Wiring diagrams
Harness drawings
Formboard drawings
Wire lists
BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Perform electrical component selection and connector allocation.
Ensure design compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project teams for design integration.
Conduct design reviews and implement engineering changes.
Support prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and maintain revision control.




Generate reports and documentation required for product release and manufacturing.

Required Skills

Technical Skills
Robust experience in Zuken E3.series tools:
E3.schematic
E3.cable
E3.formboard
Electrical wiring harness and cable routing design.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Wire sizing, fuse selection, connector selection, and circuit protection concepts.
Knowledge of electrical standards and documentation practices.
BOM creation and configuration management.

Design Knowledge
Electrical system architecture.
Signal, power distribution, and control circuits.
Harness manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
Electrical panel and cabinet design (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Rail, Industrial Equipment, or Off-Highway Vehicle industries.
Familiarity with
AutoCAD Electrical
EPLAN
CATIA Electrical
PLM/PDM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.)
Knowledge of industry standards such as:
IEC
UL
IPC/WHMA-A-620
ISO standards
