Key Responsibilities
Inspect garments before processing to identify stains, damage, missing buttons, tears, or special care requirements.
Read and understand garment care labels before cleaning.
Classify garments based on fabric type, color, and cleaning method.
Remove stains using appropriate stain-removal chemicals and techniques.
Operate dry-cleaning machines safely and efficiently.
Perform wet cleaning for garments requiring special treatment.
Ensure proper chemical dosage and solvent management.
Monitor machine temperature, pressure, and cleaning cycles.
Load and unload garments without causing damage.
Check garments after cleaning for stain removal and overall quality.
Reprocess garments when quality standards are not achieved.
Coordinate with pressing and finishing staff for wrinkle-free presentation.
Maintain cleanliness of machines, filters, and work area.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines while handling chemicals.
Record production quantities and machine maintenance requirements.
Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
Minimize garment damage and chemical wastage.
Ensure timely completion of customer orders.
