Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing estimates for electrical projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of project estimation for all electrical services, including HT/LT systems, lighting, power, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, ELV, and related electrical works. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and techno-commercial proposals for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

Study tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for all electrical services.

Perform quantity take-offs from electrical drawings.

Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, and cost sheets.

Float enquiries to vendors and subcontractors and evaluate quotations.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders.

Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams.

Identify cost optimization and value engineering prospects.

Prepare tender submissions within deadlines.

Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical pricing.





Attend pre-bid meetings and clarify technical queries whenever required.

Ensure compliance with relevant IS standards, electrical codes, and client specifications.

Required Skills

Solid knowledge of electrical estimation for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

HT/LT Electrical Systems

Power Distribution

Lighting Systems

Earthing & Lightning Protection

DG & UPS Systems

Fire Alarm Systems

ELV Systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA, Data & Voice, BMS)

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.

Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, vendor management, and rate analysis.

Solid analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 2+ years of experience in electrical project estimation within the MEP/Electrical contracting industry.

Preferred Candidate

Experience in handling multiple tenders simultaneously.

Familiarity with commercial and industrial MEP projects.

Ability to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines.
