Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care &
Monitoring
Conduct regular ward rounds to check patients’ condition.
Monitor vital signs, progress, and treatment plans.
Provide immediate medical care during emergencies.
Support consultants during procedures and clinical management.
Treatment &
Documentation
Prescribe medications as per consultant’s advice.
Maintain accurate case sheets, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Ensure completion of all medical documentation as per hospital policy.
Emergency Management
Attend casualty/emergency cases promptly.
Initiate resuscitation, stabilization, and necessary investigations.
Coordinate with specialists for further management.
Coordination &
Communication
Liaise between consultants, nurses, and paramedical staff.




Update patient relatives on condition and progress (as permitted).
Assist in medico-legal cases (MLC) documentation.
Compliance &
Safety
Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Ensure proper handover of patient care during shift changes.

Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
