Role Description The Facade Design Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed façade designs and engineering calculations for projects, ensuring compliance with structural, thermal, acoustic, and safety requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and 3D models, coordinating with architects and structural engineers, reviewing specifications, and supporting the selection of materials and systems. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance to project and site teams during fabrication and installation.





The engineer will also review shop drawings, participate in design reviews, and assist in value engineering to optimize performance and cost. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru East.

Qualifications

Strong skills in façade design and structural analysis, including load calculations and performance assessments.

Proficiency in CAD and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for façade detailing and coordination.

Knowledge of façade materials and systems, such as aluminum, glass, cladding panels, and insulation technologies.

Understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations related to façade engineering.

Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into practical façade solutions.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and constructability.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; prior façade or building envelope experience is an advantage.
