Role Summary
Identify the challenges in pest, emerging pests and initiate the product evaluation trials to manage pest with lower pesticide residue.
Design trial protocols, layouts and execute scientific new version trials and iCyte trials.
Develop deep green pesticide schedule and work with deep green crops for making standard SOP.
Execution of trials as per protocol and meeting timelines.

Role and Responsibilities
Evaluate different recent and innovative Fertis Ecolaid iCyte products ion significant pests/crops in India.
Disseminate advance technology of plant protection technologies to the farmers in different States in India.
Pest Identification, monitoring and forecasting for proposing appropriate management strategies to farmers.
Conducting field demonstration at farmers field and farmer’s meeting to support business development team for various iCyte products, and defense solution products.
Validation of various Bio-pesticide products with Benchmark Bio and synthetic products available in market.




Educating the farmers for use of iCyte products towards low pesticide residue and high in food safety.
Experience on pesticide molecules, registrations, and knowledge on conducting deep green standards.
Liaison with different agriculture Universities/ICAR Institutes and Other Corporate groups for external trial Validation.
Pre launch trials with iCyte product for soft launch.
Training to Fertis team on iCyte and defense solution on pest management and MRL reduction.

Key Technical/ Functional Competencies
Knowledge on various insect pests and current market products.
ETL (economic threshold level) of various pest and crop loss.
Skills on secure to consume produce, MRL and FSSAI norms and guidelines.
Crop protection knowledge of various pest management strategies in major field and horticultural crops.
Knowledge on bio-insecticides/biostimulants/ protection products and efficacy on pest management.
Ability to conduct insect control trials, document results, interpret and to make presentation.
