This environment offers opportunities to work on meaningful, product-focused solutions with room for technical and qualified growth.
Role Description
We're looking for a hands-on Flutter developer to take a partially built early-learning app across the finish line and onto the App Store.
The app helps young students practice reading skills through interactive quizzes with text-to-speech and voice-based answers. The foundation is solid — Flutter frontend (Riverpod), Supabase backend with the schema and most APIs already written as PostgreSQL functions — and you'll own the remaining ~25%.
What you'll do:
Set up and configure the Supabase backend (schema, functions, storage, auth are already written — you'll deploy and wire them up)
Build an adaptive question engine: select the next question based on student performance and resurface incorrectly answered questions (rules-based / spaced repetition — no ML required)
Implement voice-answer recording and grading (speech-to-text)
Import existing question content, polish remaining screens, and handle App Store submission via TestFlight
Must-haves:
Solid Flutter experience with at least one app shipped to the Apple App Store
Solid PostgreSQL skills — business logic here lives in plpgsql functions, so comfort writing and debugging SQL is essential (Supabase experience is a big plus)
Ability to work independently from an existing codebase and communicate progress clearly
