: Equity Research Analyst for India Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) sector.

Context & Role:

The job holder will have the primary responsibility of tracking companies in the Banking and Financial Services including NBFC, Asset Management, Exchanges, etc. sector and recommending investment ideas to the fund managers.

Desired qualifications and experience:
MBA from a reputed institute/ University or CA/ CFA.
A minimum of 5+ years of total experience in the similar role in an MF/Insurance/PMS/Broking Firms.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Tracking and analyzing companies in the Banking and Financial Services including NBFC, Asset Management, Exchanges, etc.
Preparing detailed excel models for the companies under coverage.




Conducting valuation analysis and recommending buy and sell ideas.
Attending quarterly result conference calls and updating the investment team with key takeaways.
Providing regular and actionable updates to fund managers.
Regular interaction with company managements, sell-side analysts, consultants, etc.
Providing key sector updates on a regular basis

Measures of Performance:
Attribution analysis using Bloomberg for analyzing alpha generation
Knowledge and skills required:
Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.
Solid analytical and in-depth financial analysis skills.
Sound knowledge of the Equity & Fixed Income markets.
Deep understanding of macro-economic factors.
Knowledge of databases including functional knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Capitaline, etc.
