Role Description The Embedded System Engineer Intern will support the design, development, and testing of embedded software and hardware for battery-powered devices in a remote work setting. Day-to-day tasks include implementing and debugging firmware, integrating sensors and communication modules, and assisting in system architecture and interface design. The intern will help analyze system performance, participate in code reviews, and document designs, test results, and technical procedures.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams on IoT prototypes, electronics validation,



and software integration will be part of the role. This is an internship position, and the role is fully remote.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in embedded software and software development for microcontrollers and real-time systems.

Knowledge of electrical engineering principles related to circuits, power management, and hardware interfaces.

Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, including connectivity protocols and sensor integration.

Understanding of electronics components, PCB-level design basics, and hardware debugging tools.

Relevant coursework or project experience in embedded systems, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.

Ability to read schematics, use lab instruments (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes), and interpret technical documentation.

Competence with programming languages commonly used in embedded systems (such as C/C++, Python) is beneficial.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate in diverse teams.
