Roles & Responsibilities: The Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable web-based applications. The role involves full lifecycle participation—from understanding requirements and writing clean, effective code to ensuring application performance and security.
GIS Development frameworks and mapping.
Develop responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications using contemporary frameworks and technologies.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with front-end interfaces.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform wireframes and mockups into functional applications.
Maintain and optimize existing web applications to enhance performance and user experience.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following coding standards and version control practices.
Conduct unit,
integration, and regression testing to ensure application reliability.
Implement secure coding practices and address vulnerabilities as identified in security assessments.
Deploy applications to cloud or on-prem environments and support post-deployment activities.
Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and implement enhancements based on stakeholder feedback.
