The candidate should be proficient in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and digestive disorders.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Manage emergency gastrointestinal cases and provide timely interventions when required.
Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and other healthcare specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records, clinical documentation, and procedure reports.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, quality standards, and infection control practices.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in gastroenterology.
Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and continuous medical education activities.
