Key Responsibilities:
Assist fabricators, welders, and fitters during fabrication and assembly activities.
Load, unload, and transport raw materials, fabricated components, and finished products within the shop floor.
Support cutting, grinding, drilling, deburring, and finishing operations.
Clean and prepare metal surfaces before fabrication and welding.
Hold and position workpieces during welding and fitting operations.
Assist in operating hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment under supervision.
Sort, stack, and identify fabricated parts as per instructions.
Perform material shifting using trolleys, pallet trucks, or other approved handling equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area (5S).
Dispose of scrap materials as per company procedures.
Follow all safety guidelines and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Report damaged tools, equipment, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
