Position Overview
Role: Head Chef
Department: Culinary, Food, Beverages, or Hospitality
Experience Required: 5+ years in multi-cuisine
Roles & Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the hospitality team to plan menus and ensure efficient, seamless food preparation.
Inventory Control: Monitor ingredient and supply inventory levels to ensure optimal usage and minimal waste.
Menu Innovation: Develop creative new recipes and menu concepts to enhance the overall dining experience.
Customer Service:
Provide professional service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Travel: Should be open to travel in other units when required.
Job Requirements
Experience: Proven professional background as a Chef or Head Chef, team handling with multi-cuisine expertise covering Indian, South Indian, Asian, Italian and Mediterranean culinary styles.
Soft Skills: Polished communication and teamwork abilities, with the composure to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace.
Quality Focus: Solid attention to detail regarding food quality, safety, and presentation standards.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and operate standard commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.).
