Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Frontend Developer Intern at Laneway. The intern will assist in designing and implementing user-facing features for web applications, focusing on responsive and intuitive interfaces.

Daily tasks include collaborating with product and design teams, translating UI/UX wireframes into functional components, and integrating frontend elements with backend APIs.



The role involves maintaining and improving existing web pages, debugging issues, optimizing performance, and adhering to best practices in code quality and documentation. The intern will also participate in reviews, contribute ideas to enhance user experience, and learn modern frontend workflows in a dynamic consulting and technology environment.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design.
Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Software Development.
Candidates should possess a basic understanding of Back-End Web Development to collaborate effectively with full-stack teams.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary frontend frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) is beneficial.
Robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn quickly in a remote workplace are key.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are required.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
