Leadership Hiring | Head Procurement | Genomics Diagnostic Lab - Bangalore
We are partnering with a leading genomics company to identify a Head Procurement with deep expertise in sourcing critical genomics laboratory consumables, including reagents, assays, sequencing panels, DNA/RNA extraction kits, library preparation kits, and flow cells used in high-throughput sequencing workflows.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with global and domestic suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply, optimal cost, and quality.
Drive procurement excellence through inventory optimization, demand planning, and just-in-time (JIT) procurement models.

Desired Profile:
Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in the life sciences, genomics, or diagnostics industry,



with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and cost optimization.
Hands-on experience in procuring for a genomics laboratory is mandatory.
Strong familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, or Zoho, along with demand planning and inventory management systems.
Proven experience managing JIT procurement models in a rapid-paced R&D; or clinical laboratory workplace.
Valuable understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows, including DNA/RNA extraction, library preparation, target enrichment, sequencing platforms, and automated liquid handling systems.
