Position

Housekeeping Supervisor

Shift
Rotational Shifts
Duty as per hospital roster
Weekly Off as per hospital policy

Key Responsibilities
Supervise housekeeping staff across wards, ICU, OT, OPD, diagnostics, and common areas.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control throughout the hospital.
Allocate daily duties and monitor staff attendance and performance.
Conduct routine inspections of patient rooms, washrooms, corridors, and public areas.
Ensure timely cleaning of patient discharge rooms and emergency spill management.
Maintain housekeeping supplies, linen movement, and cleaning equipment.
Coordinate with Nursing, Maintenance, Biomedical Waste, and Infection Control teams.
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols, PPE usage, and hospital safety standards.
Prepare daily reports and immediately escalate any operational issues.

Eligibility




Graduate or Higher Secondary (12th Pass); Diploma in Hotel/Hospital Housekeeping is preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
Knowledge of NABH standards, infection control, and biomedical waste segregation will be an added advantage.
Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
