Role & responsibilities
Perform routine and non-routine analysis using HPLC and related analytical instruments.
Prepare standards, reagents, mobile phases, and sample solutions as per approved methods.
Conduct method verification, validation, and analytical troubleshooting when required.
Review chromatograms, calculate results, and ensure data integrity.
Maintain complete and accurate analytical records, worksheets, and test reports.
Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of HPLC systems and laboratory equipment.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, SOPs, and laboratory quality procedures.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), and instrument-related issues.
Participate in internal quality control, proficiency testing, and laboratory audits.
Maintain laboratory safety standards and ensure proper handling of chemicals and reference standards.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and productivity.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience
25 years of hands-on experience in HPLC analysis within a commercial, pharmaceutical or NABL-accredited testing laboratory.
Experience in handling multiple sample matrices will be an added advantage.
