Job Title: Lab Chemist

Department: Quality Control (QC) / R&D; / Production

Location: Dahej

Job Summary The Lab Chemist is responsible for conducting chemical analysis, testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining laboratory equipment, documentation, and following laboratory safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Prepare reagents, standard solutions, and test samples.
Operate laboratory instruments such as pH meter, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC, and analytical balances (as applicable).
Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
Maintain laboratory records, calibration logs, and test reports.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP/GLP, ISO, and safety guidelines.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS)



results and support corrective actions.
Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals and consumables.
Support internal and external quality audits.

Qualifications
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
Knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory safety practices.
Familiarity with MS Office and laboratory documentation.
