We are hiring a LabVIEW Automation Engineer to design scalable test frameworks for post-silicon characterization in the semiconductor industry. The role focuses on LabVIEW-based automation, instrument integration, protocol control, and data-driven analysis to validate silicon performance and support manufacturing readiness. This position requires solid technical skills in NI tools, bench instrumentation, and test sequencing to accelerate debugging and improve product reliability.
What you'll do
Design scalable, modular LabVIEW automation frameworks using OOP and Actor Framework
Develop and maintain drivers for oscilloscopes, SMUs, spectrum analyzers, and generators
Integrate equipment via GPIB, TCP/IP, and PXI for robust test setups
Execute PVT characterization routines to quantify parametric performance and margins
Implement register-level DUT communication using I2C, SPI, UART, and JTAG
Automate data collection and statistical analysis for SNR, THD, and jitter metrics
Collaborate with design and validation teams to debug silicon and refine tests
Use NI TestStand for sequencing and Python for data post-processing and reporting
Who you are
Degree holder in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or VLSI-related field
Experienced LabVIEW developer with robust architecture and automation skills
Comfortable with bench measurement setups and thermal chamber usage
Proficient with NI TestStand and scripting for test orchestration and analysis
Familiar with high-speed signal integrity and parametric measurement techniques
