Role Description The Junior Account role at My Almari is a full time, in office position based in Mumbai. This role focuses on assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and supporting accounts payable and receivable activities.

The individual will help prepare basic financial reports, ensure accurate documentation, and support compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.



The role also involves coordinating with other teams to resolve billing or payment queries, updating records in accounting software, and contributing to month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational accounting skills such as bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in using accounting or ERP software, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and data entry tools.
Candidates should possess skills related to attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation management.
Candidates should possess skills in communication, teamwork, and qualified collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are beneficial.
Additional skills such as familiarity with GST and TDS, basic knowledge of Indian accounting standards, and prior internship or junior accounting experience are an advantage.
