Roles and Responsibility
Prepare and cook a range of Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, and tandoori items.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure effective food preparation and service.
Develop current recipes and menus to keep culinary offerings fresh.
Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards and recipes.
Maintain inventory of spices, herbs, and other ingredients used in Indian cuisine.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as an Indian cook or in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
