Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Indirect Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of indirect materials, services, and capital expenditure (CapEx) items required for manufacturing operations. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor development, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services while achieving cost optimization and compliance with company procurement policies.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement of indirect materials and services.`
Handle sourcing for MRO items, tools, consumables, facility management, office supplies, IT equipment, utilities, logistics, and CapEx requirements.
Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Identify, evaluate, and develop current suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
Release Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP/ERP and monitor order execution.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Administration, Finance, IT, HR,



and other stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Responsiveness.
Support annual rate contracts (ARC) and supplier agreements.
Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services while minimizing procurement lead time.

Behavioral Competencies desired:
36 years of experience in indirect procurement within the automotive, EV, or manufacturing industry.
Exposure to SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is preferred.
Robust negotiation and vendor management skills.
Understanding of indirect procurement categories.
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management.

Education background-Essential:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
MBA in Supply Chain/Operations (preferred).
