Role Description This in office Internship in Molecular Chemistry is based in Bengaluru South. Interns will support experimental work related to scent and fragrance molecules, including preparing samples, conducting laboratory tests, and documenting observations.

Day-to-day tasks may involve basic wet lab procedures, maintaining lab equipment, recording data in laboratory notebooks, and assisting with analysis under supervision of senior researchers. The role also includes conducting literature reviews on ancient scent practices and relevant chemical compounds, and contributing to discussions on experimental design. This is an internship role, with interns expected to learn actively, follow safety protocols,



and collaborate with the team on ongoing research projects.

Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of chemistry or molecular sciences, ideally through ongoing or completed undergraduate studies in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Basic laboratory skills, including handling chemicals safely, preparing solutions, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining accurate experimental records.
Ability to conduct literature reviews, interpret scientific articles, and summarize findings related to molecular chemistry and traditional scent practices.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in experimental setup, data collection, and result interpretation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and receive constructive feedback.
Demonstrated interest in fragrances, olfactory science, or the intersection of ancient practices and modern chemistry is highly beneficial.
Willingness to work in office in Bengaluru South, adhere to laboratory safety standards, and commit to the full duration of the internship.
