Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on hydraulic systems and equipment. Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults, including pressure loss, leakage, overheating, and component failures. Inspect, maintain, and replace hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, accumulators, filters, hoses, and fittings.
Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals. Monitor hydraulic oil condition, contamination levels, pressure, temperature, and fluid cleanliness. Carry out hydraulic oil filtration, flushing, and system commissioning activities.
Identify root causes of hydraulic failures and recommend corrective actions. Ensure proper installation, alignment, and testing of hydraulic components. Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and spare parts usage.
Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure compliance with safety procedures,
including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and secure work practices. Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills: 2–5 years of experience in hydraulic maintenance within manufacturing, steel, cement, mining, or other heavy industries. Robust knowledge of industrial hydraulic systems and components. Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic equipment efficiently.
Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings. Knowledge of hydraulic oil contamination control and filtration practices. Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
Positive analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
