We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong IBM Mainframe and CICS Liberty JVM Server experience to join our technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Java applications deployed on CICS Liberty JVM Server within an enterprise mainframe environment. This role requires a solid background in Java development, RESTful API and microservices design, and integration with core mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS programs, DB2, MQ, and related z/OS components.
You should be comfortable working in a complex enterprise setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting both current development and production stability.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java applications deployed on CICS Liberty JVM Server
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices running on IBM CICS Transaction Server
Integrate Java applications with existing mainframe components, including COBOL programs, CICS transactions and programs, DB2 databases, IBM MQ
