Core Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Install heavy metal molds (dies) into the machine using cranes or hoists.
Parameter Tuning: Input speed, pressure, and temperature settings (often between 150°C to 300°C) into the machine’s control panel.
Material Feeding: Load plastic raw materials (granules/pellets) and color masterbatches into the machine hopper.
Production Monitoring: Run the machine, watch for alarms, and ensure cycles finish on time.
Quality Inspection: Check finished plastic parts for defects like flashes, air bubbles, or short shots using calipers or micrometers.
Post-Processing: Trim excess plastic (runners/gates) from parts using knives and pack them into boxes.
Maintenance: Clean the machine, lubricate moving parts, and explicit minor nozzle blockages.
