Job Summary The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for minimizing financial losses caused by theft, fraud, operational errors, policy violations, and unsafe practices within the store or organization. The role involves monitoring daily operations, conducting investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining a safe and secure working workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor store activities through CCTV surveillance and physical inspections.
Identify and investigate incidents related to theft, fraud, stock loss, shrinkage, and policy violations.
Conduct audits, PI checks, stock verification, and compliance reviews.
Prepare investigation reports with observations and recommendations.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and company policies.
Coordinate with store operations team to reduce damages and operational losses.
Monitor receiving, dispatch, cash handling, and billing activities.
Track and report suspicious activities or irregularities.
Conduct employee questioning and obtain written statements when required.
Support in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain confidentiality of investigations and sensitive information.
Assist management in improving operational efficiency and loss control measures.
Required Skills

Knowledge of CCTV monitoring and investigation procedures
Positive communication and reporting skills
Attention to detail
Problem-solving ability
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports, emails)
Understanding of retail operations and inventory control
Qualification
Graduate / Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience in Retail Loss Prevention, Security, Audit, or Investigation preferred 5 to 6 years.
