Role &
Responsibilities
Framework Design &
Development:
Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile automation test frameworks for Android and iOS using Java, Appium, and Selenium.
BDD Implementation: Write concise, transparent feature files and step definitions using BDD frameworks (such as Cucumber) to bridge communication between technical and business teams.
Test Execution &
Reporting:
Execute automated test suites across real devices, emulators, and cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for regular automated regression runs.
Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test defects in defect management tools like Jira.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers,
and QA teams in an Agile workplace to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Technical Expertise: Solid proficiency in Java programming concepts (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling).
Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium for mobile automation (iOS &
Android).
BDD Methodology: Proven experience using BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave with Gherkin syntax.
Build &
Version Control:
Experience with build management tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).
API &
Mobile Testing:
Knowledge of mobile application architecture, hybrid/native app testing, and REST API testing (using RestAssured or Postman) is a plus.
Agile Experience: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA practice
