Key Responsibilities
Supervise furnace operations, charging, melting, alloy additions, and metal tapping.
Ensure molten metal meets required chemical composition and temperature specifications.
Monitor furnace performance, productivity, and energy consumption.
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to meet casting schedules.
Supervise operators, allocate work, and maintain shift discipline.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE, and housekeeping (5S).
Maintain daily melting, consumption, and production records.
Coordinate preventive maintenance of furnaces and melting equipment.
