Source and recruit sewing machine operators, tailors, checkers, helpers, packers, and other factory workers.
Conduct field recruitment drives in villages, towns, ITIs, and skill development centers.
Develop and maintain relationships with labor contractors, placement agencies, NGOs, and local recruiters.
Coordinate walk-in interviews, job fairs, and campus recruitment programs.
Ensure timely joining and onboarding of selected candidates.
Arrange transportation and hostel accommodation for migrant employees, where applicable.
Maintain a manpower database and daily recruitment MIS reports.
Coordinate with production and HR teams to understand manpower requirements.
Monitor employee referrals and recruitment campaigns.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and buyer requirements.
Achieve monthly recruitment targets while minimizing recruitment costs.
Follow up with current hires during the initial joining period to improve retention. These responsibilities align with common manpower sourcing roles in home textile manufacturing.
Qualifications
12th or any UG or Post Graduate (MBA/MSW in HR preferred)
2–5 years of experience in manpower sourcing or factory recruitment.
Experience in the textile, garment, or home textile industry is preferred.
