Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Costing Manager / Head – Costing to lead cost accounting and financial planning activities for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will drive cost optimization, budgeting, inventory valuation, and profitability initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Lead cost accounting and product costing activities.
Develop and maintain standard costing and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) systems.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage inventory valuation and cost controls.
Analyze production variances and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Production teams.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Support strategic decision-making through cost analysis and business insights.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability.

Required Skills




Robust knowledge of Cost Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;).
Expertise in Standard Costing, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), and Inventory Valuation.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision, or similar ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Solid communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CMA/ICWA qualification preferred.
8–15+ years of experience in Costing, Finance, or Manufacturing Accounting within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry.
