D Y Patil International School, Worli is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and be committed to delivering high-quality, inquiry-based education that inspires students to achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in accordance with the IB curriculum (MYP/DP).
Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
Assess, monitor, and report student progress using IB assessment practices.
Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments.
Develop lesson plans, learning resources, and differentiated teaching strategies.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and development.
Participate in school events, meetings, and career development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in an IB school (MYP/DP). Candidates with Cambridge (IGCSE/A Levels) experience may also apply.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Strong understanding of inquiry-based teaching and IB assessment practices.
IB professional development/workshop certification will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Experience teaching MYP Mathematics and/or DP Mathematics (AA/AI).
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and educational technology.
Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
