Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
Build API-first solutions using REST standards and OpenAPI specifications.
Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Publish, secure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
Integrate backend services with internal and external systems using synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect and Azure AD.
Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews and CI/CD automation.
Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and architecture teams.
Ability to work independently on features and contribute to design discussions.
Requirements
Required
3–6 years of hands-on backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with Azure services, especially AKS, API management and Key Vault.
Positive understanding of with Docker and Kubernetes concepts.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Understanding of API security best practices and OWASP guidelines.
Understanding of Ecommerce and Order management journey
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Experience with Next.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
Event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus or Event Hubs.
Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Experience with performance tuning and scalability in cloud settings.
