This role leads the accounting operations for international entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local and US GAAP requirements. The position involves managing the month-end close process, coordinating audits, and driving process improvements through automation and AI-enabled tools. Collaboration with various internal departments and external advisors is crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee month-end close activities for assigned international entities.
Act as the primary point of contact for accounting and compliance matters.
Prepare and present balance sheet flux analysis to leadership.
Coordinate statutory, tax, and external audit processes.
Drive automation and optimization of accounting processes.
Must-Have Skills:
10+ years of finance and accounting reporting experience,
including 3+ years of supervisory experience
Experience supporting global accounting operations in an SSC or COE workplace
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience partnering with statutory auditors
Expertise in month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, audits, tax compliance coordination, and intercompany accounting
Proficiency with enterprise systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, and solid financial analysis skills
Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance; master's degree preferred
CPA, CA, or ACCA required
Industry Experience: Experience supporting global accounting operations, ideally within a shared services or center of excellence workplace, is strongly preferred.
