This position involves working within the MEP Design & Engineering Team at Axium Global's Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience. The senior engineer would require taking on a leadership role with the potential of growing a team reporting to them.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsibility for the overall design of HVAC systems & deliverables, including Concept, Scheme, Design Development, Tender Design / Documentation (including Technical Specification, BOQ, Schedules and Drawings)

Design to current legislation and codes of practice

Independently communicate with clients on a regular basis

Mentor and assist Junior engineers

Prepared to undergo training in learning current software if needed

Open to work odd hours if required to meet deadlines

Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback

Regular communication with the client and taking on design responsibilities on project types like commercial, residential, retail, laboratories & hospitals





Understanding codes & standards local to project location and utilizing the latest & industry leading software To take on a leadership role with the potential of growing a team reporting to them

Qualification and Experience Required

BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field

5+ years of experience in designing of HVAC systems

Experience in design of HVAC systems for commercial, residential, retail projects

Ideally, should have experience of sustainability-based projects

Valuable understating & knowledge of international codes like ASHRAE, SMACNA

Good IT skills comprising Microsoft Office, HVAC cooling load software (Trane Trace, Camel, IES VE etc), AutoCAD, Bluebeam

Positive communication skills and ability to interact with client on a regular basis

Consistently produce accurate work without errors

Experience working on US/UK/Australia projects will be an added advantage
