About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Physical Education Teacher who is passionate about promoting fitness, sportsmanship, and overall student well-being. The ideal candidate should be capable of planning and conducting engaging PE classes while encouraging students to develop healthy lifestyles and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct Physical Education classes for students as per the school curriculum.
Teach fundamental sports skills, fitness exercises, and physical activities.
Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor sports activities.
Prepare students for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and annual sports events.
Assess students' physical fitness and maintain performance records.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all physical activities.
Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper usage.
Foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship among students.
Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to organize sports-related events and activities.
Participate in school meetings, parent interactions, and professional development programs.

Qualifications




Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) is mandatory.
M.P.Ed. is preferred.
Relevant teaching certification (if applicable).
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE or reputed school.
Experience coaching one or more sports such as Basketball, Football, Cricket, Athletics, Volleyball, Badminton, or Yoga is preferred.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of physical education and sports coaching.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students of different age groups.
Valuable organizational and event management skills.
Robust interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of first aid and student safety practices is an added advantage.
