Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and customer-focused Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of automotive plastic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection-moulded plastic components and automotive product development, with the ability to translate customer needs into competitive, manufacturable, and commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify customer needs and market prospects through research, customer interactions, and competitive analysis.
Define product strategy, roadmap, and product requirements aligned with business and customer goals.
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and development to launch and continuous improvement.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration, resource planning, and timely project execution.
Ensure products meet quality, cost, manufacturability, regulatory, and customer requirements while driving product validation activities (DFMEA, DFM, DFA).
Mentor, guide, and manage the product development team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.




Monitor product performance, track KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and support customer engagements, RFQs, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product design, Automotive Design, or a related field.
Strong understanding of automotive design principles, including aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality.
Proficiency in 3D modelling software [Unigraphics NX is a must.
Strong understanding of plastic materials, mould design, injection mould manufacturing process and injection moulding processes.
Experience with DFMEA, DFM, and DFA methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for automotive design and innovation.

Experience:
10+ years of qualified experience in automotive plastic product design.
Minimum 10+ years working experience in UG NX
