Role & responsibilities
Solid familiarity with Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Land Transport, and Customs Clearance procedures in UAE.
Secure competitive buy rates for air, sea, and land freight from shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.
Prepare fast, accurate, and profitable freight quotations and handle client RFQs (Request for Quotes) in coordination with the sales team.
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, peak season surcharges, and General Rate Increases (GRI).
Keep internal rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases updated within logistics software.
Partner with operations and sales teams to convert business leads and ensure smooth shipment handovers.
Robust command of Microsoft Excel and logistics ERP tools (e.g., CargoWise, Ipack)




Maintain ongoing relationships with active clients to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
Advanced communication, numerical aptitude, and commercial negotiation abilities.

Preferred candidate profile Hands-on experience in UAE Freight Forwarding.

Expertise in Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Land Transport & Customs Clearance.

Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics ERP platforms such as CargoWise or Ipack.

Excellent communication, commercial negotiation, and analytical skills.
