Role & responsibilities
Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Budget Control: Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and implement cost-control procedures.
Contract Administration: Manage subcontractor agreements, evaluate monthly progress claims, and issue payment certificates.
Procurement: Assist in evaluating supplier tenders, conducting cost-advantage analyses, and negotiating contracts.
Final Accounts: Prepare, negotiate, and settle final accounts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Reporting: Generate regular financial status reports, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments for management.
in Civil Engineering or a Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and industry-standard estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CostX, or AutoCAD).
Core Competencies: Robust understanding of standard codes of measurement, tendering processes, and local construction laws.
Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, commercial awareness, and analytical problem-solving skills.
