We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to support Reliability Lab testing activities for Solar PV Modules and Cells. The candidate will be responsible for executing various reliability tests, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting lab operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reliability testing of Solar PV Modules and Cells as per defined standards
Execute tests such as Damp Heat, Thermal Cycling, Humidity Freeze, Mechanical Load, UV Exposure, PID
Ensure compliance with IEC standards (IEC 61215, IEC 61730)
Maintain test records, reports, and documentation
Monitor lab equipment and ensure calibration status
Analyze test data and prepare reports
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and R&D; teams
Support internal and external audits (BIS, TUV)
Identify and report abnormalities during testing
Follow safety procedures and lab discipline
Additional Responsibilities
Assist in team coordination and task allocation
Ensure timely completion of testing schedules
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain 5S and positive laboratory practices
Required Skills
Knowledge of Solar PV Module & Cell testing
Awareness of IEC standards (IEC 61215, IEC 61730)
Understanding of BIS and TUV requirements
Basic reliability engineering concepts
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting)
Team & Leadership Skills
Ability to manage small teams or technicians
Valuable communication and coordination
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Qualification
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy
Experience
3–6 years (Freshers with relevant knowledge can apply)
