Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the Research & Development function, driving product innovation, recent product development (NPD), design optimization, and engineering excellence for consumer durable products manufactured by EPACK.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the R&D; team and manage end-to-end product development projects
Drive New Product Development (NPD) from concept to commercialization
Develop innovative products aligned with market trends and customer requirements
Oversee product design, prototyping, testing, validation, and certification
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams
Optimize product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality norms
Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and product lifecycle activities
Conduct technology benchmarking and competitor analysis
Mentor and develop engineering and R&D; teams

Skills Required:
Strong expertise in product development and engineering design
Knowledge of consumer electronics and home appliance technologies




Experience in Recent Product Development (NPD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Leadership, project management, and cross-functional coordination
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and engineering tools

Qualification & Experience:
BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline
12–18 years of experience in R&D; and product development within consumer electronics or home appliance manufacturing
Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role

Preferred Experience:
Experience with air conditioners, washing machines, air coolers, small home appliances, or other consumer durable products
Prior experience in organizations such as EPACK, Dixon, Voltas, Blue Star, Haier, LG, Samsung, Godrej, Whirlpool, Panasonic, or similar OEM/ODM manufacturing companies will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
