Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Project Draughtsman with experience in preparing fabrication and detailed engineering drawings for Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vesselsand other process equipment. The candidate should have robust proficiency in AutoCAD and be capable of developing accurate fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and manufacturing details while coordinating with project, design, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop fabrication drawings for Heat Exchangers and related process equipment.
Prepare component drawings for shells, channels, tube sheets, nozzles, supports, and other assemblies.
Review customer specifications and engineering documents.
Revise drawings based on client comments and engineering changes.
Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, QA/QC, and Planning teams.
Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, company standards, and applicable engineering codes.




Maintain drawing revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Support fabrication teams by resolving drawing-related queries.

Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience in fabrication drawing preparation.
Knowledge of Heat Exchanger manufacturing and fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of welding symbols, tolerances, and fabrication practices.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and fabrication standards.
Exposure to pressure vessels and process equipment.
Familiarity with BOM preparation and document control.
Experience with ERP/SAP will be an added advantage.

Qualification
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience
3–8 years of experience in Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessel, or Heavy Engineering industries.
Hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting and fabrication drawings.
