Role and Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and scale-up protein purification protocols from bench to pilot scale.
Perform protein separation using techniques such as Affinity, Ion Exchange (IEX), Hydrophobic Interaction (HIC), and Size Exclusion (SEC) chromatography, heavily utilizing systems like the KTA FPLC platform.
Assess protein purity, concentration, and integrity using assays like SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, HPLC, and UV/Vis spectroscopy.
Prepare buffers, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Maintain detailed electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN), analyze data 6. Enzyme Immobilization methods like adsorption, covalent binding etc. 7. Ultrafiltration and Diafiltration using TFF system
