Job Title: HRT PYP (Homeroom Teacher)

Location: OAKRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, BANGALORE

Job Summary:

The PYP Homeroom Teacher is responsible for delivering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) through inquiry-based learning, creating a protected, engaging, and inclusive classroom workplace, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic student growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging IB PYP lessons.
Foster inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
Assess, monitor, and report student progress.
Create a positive, inclusive, and secure classroom workplace.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
Participate in school events, professional development, and IB initiatives.
Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and school policies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Education or relevant subject.
Experience in IB PYP or an international school is an advantage.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
