We are hiring a seasoned Procurement Manager Capex for a leading Defence & Aerospace organization. The role requires deep expertise in capital procurement, vendor negotiations, and managing high-value construction and infrastructure contracts within a manufacturing/defence setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement of capital goods, plant machinery, and project-related materials
Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including vendor identification, RFQs, techno-commercial evaluation, and order finalization
Drive negotiations for high-value construction contracts and infrastructure projects
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for Capex requirements
Ensure cost optimization, compliance, and adherence to procurement policies
Collaborate with project, engineering, and finance teams for seamless execution
Build and maintain robust vendor relationships within defence/aerospace ecosystem
Mandatory Requirements:
10 to 15 years of experience in procurement (Capex-focused)
Must be from Defence or Aerospace industry ONLY
Solid experience in
Negotiation of construction contracts
Procurement of capital goods / machinery
Proven expertise in vendor management and strategic sourcing
Age: Up to 40 years
