Position: Production Supervisor

Industry: Capital Equipment Manufacturing / Fabrication Unit

Location: Thakurpukur, Kolkata

Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month (CTC)

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production and fabrication activities to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
Lead and manage production staff to achieve daily production targets.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures.
Monitor fabrication and welding processes to maintain product quality.
Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with production planning, quality, stores, and maintenance teams.
Prepare daily production reports and update ERP/MIS records.
Optimize manpower and resources to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

Required Skills
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field.




3–5 years of experience in a production/fabrication environment.
Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, quality control, and production planning.
Robust leadership and team management skills.
Valuable problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
Positive communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
