Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Officer role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Officer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing current sales opportunities, managing relationships with distributors and retail partners, and supporting channel sales activities to increase product presence in the market. Daily tasks include conducting market visits, presenting products to potential customers, following up on leads, and coordinating with internal teams on order processing and delivery. The role also involves monitoring sales performance, resolving customer issues, collecting market feedback, and preparing regular sales reports.

Officer will collaborate closely with the operations and marketing teams to support promotional activities and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.

Experience in Lead Generation, including identifying prospects, qualifying prospects, and maintaining a sales pipeline.

Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Knowledge of Sales Operations, such as order processing, reporting, and coordination with logistics and finance.

Experience in Channel Sales, working with distributors, retailers, and other partners in the FMCG or food industry.

Basic understanding of local markets in Bhubaneswar and surrounding regions; prior field sales experience is an advantage.

Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time effectively in an on-site environment.

Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with sales reporting tools is beneficial.
